A RECORD breaking amount was raised at a popular fair and car rally on Saturday.
Crowds flocked to the Lynwood summer fete where more than 200 vintage and classic vehicles were on display and people enjoyed stalls, music from the Soundblast Sinfonia Street Band and a bird of prey display.
Final takings are still being counted and the total is expected to be about 18,000, which will go towards BEN, the automotive industry charity that runs Lynwood care home in Sunninghill.
