FAMILIES tried their hands at a variety of activities including rock climbing, canoeing and kayaking at a centre's open day.
More than 1,500 visitors descended on the Dinton Pastures Multi-Activity Centre in Hurst on Saturday, June 9 to take part in the taster sessions.
Crowds also tried out sailing and bushcraft and had a go on the segways.
Chris Buggy, from Wokingham Borough Council's Countryside Service, said: "All activities proved very popular with paddleboarding providing a new and exciting activity for the centre."
The public can use the wall on Sundays from 1-4pm until October 28 at �5 per child and �7 per adult for a 20-minute session. Members of the public can rent kayaks and canoes on weekends from noon-4pm during term time and Mondays to Sundays from 11am-5pm in the school holidays.
Hire is �5 for the first person and an extra �3 for additional people.
