Exams are a testing time
The very mention of GCSEs strikes dread into the heart of any 16-year-old.
It means hour upon sweaty hour of revision, TV bans and all my computer games being confiscated
Every day at school I see the bloodshot eyes of my fellow pupils, communicating in grunts that only another 16-year-old can decipher, whilst still trying to remember Pi-R Squared.
We all know it’s all about our future, and yes, we KNOW it is in our best interest, but there are times when I wonder if our teachers do actually remember the agony of butt-ache from hard school chairs?

The copier had thrown a wobbly and she was under pressure to get it all done before my next lesson. She looked shattered.
Yet the atmosphere in the Physically Disabled Resource unit, (PDR), was still light-hearted and encouraging, with daft jokes being bandied about, and a unique sense of camaraderie.
There are two sides to every story, and I promise when these exams are done and I am heading for my career – and yes, I will get there – I will look back at these times and I will be grateful. Honest!
Now what was it that Macbeth said to the three Witches...?
